Local Author Open House at the FPL
What is the Local Author Open House?
Local Author Open House is an annual event where authors who have new books each have a booth where they can sell and sign books and speak with readers. There are 14 authors with new books at the event. Pearl's and the library work together to promote the open house.
What's special about this event?
Local Author Open House is a great opportunity to connect with readers in the region (especially as people do holiday shopping!). One of the hard parts of being an author can be getting your book to people--this is an event that can provide another avenue to connect to readers.
